Amanda and Tyler began a new chapter of their love story at our very own Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana.
As a current wedding planner, Amanda had a vision for the unique and intimate celebration she wanted. The couple on a tropical that perfectly matched their engagement spot at the beach. Surrounded by 65 of their closest family and friends, Amanda and Tyler said “I do”.

Why did you choose a destination wedding
I am actually a wedding planner in New York State and I knew I wanted something a little out of the box that could be my own and not be compared to the numerous weddings I plan and attend every year. My husband and I love to travel and we actually got engaged on a beach so having our wedding somewhere tropical felt 100% us.
Which venue did you use?
Hard Rock Hotel Casino Punta Cana
Which collection did you use?
We did not use a collection – we did everything a la carte.
How many attendees did you have?
We had 65 guests.
What were their favorite resort activities?
Guests loved the silent discos, we had a bunch of guests partake in volleyball each day at the pool/beach, and enjoyed seeing the nightly shows at the theater.
Which was your favorite amenity?
My husband and I enjoyed a romantic dinner near Bongo Pool and we also had a birthday celebration for my mom at the Italian restaurant with about 20 of our family members. They came out with a birthday cake and musicians to sing Happy Birthday!
What was your favorite thing about your big day?
Having all our loved ones together in paradise is something we truly never will forget. Our reception was on a rooftop overlooking the beach—it was stunning and then having everyone dancing under the stars at our reception was magical!

How about describing our day in three words: Beautiful, unforgettable, FUN!! It will truly be a day/week we will never forget!
What was the best part about the planning process?
I think how many options they have for you. You could make your wedding as simple or as extravagant as you want! They truly want you to have the best experience!
What is your favorite memory from your big day?
It POURED in the middle of our reception—but to have all our guests dancing in the rain and laughing is something we still are talking about today. The staff at Hard Rock worked so hard to pivot and make the night unforgettable! Once the rain stopped the staff worked so quickly to place everything back and you would never know it had rained!
